Cookie Policy

Effective date: 23 January 2026
Last updated: 10 September 2026 (Google Analytics 4 added under the analytics category; the Meta pixel added under marketing on 6 September 2026, and the outdated WordPress cookie list removed)

  1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website may store on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. Cookies help the Site to work, to remember certain settings and to give us insight into how the Site is used, so that we can improve the user experience.
  2. Who sets cookies
    Cookies may be set by:
  • Miren Clinic (first party cookies), which are necessary for the Site to work and for its basic functions.
  • Third parties (third party cookies), when we use tools and integrations (for example analytics, embedded video, maps, social media buttons).
  1. Which types of cookies we use
    A) Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the basic functioning of the Site (for example stability, security and core technical functions). Without them the Site may work poorly or incorrectly.

B) Functional cookies
They allow certain choices to be remembered (for example language or display settings), for a better user experience.

C) Analytical cookies
They allow us to measure visits and understand how the Site is used (for example which pages are visited most often and how long users stay). We use this data to improve the content, structure and performance of the Site.
For this purpose we use Google Analytics 4. It is not loaded until you switch analytics cookies on: until then the Site makes no connection to Google servers at all. If you switch them off, measurement stops and its cookies are deleted.

D) Marketing cookies and social media cookies
The Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram ads) is enabled on the Site for this purpose. It shows us how many visits and bookings came from our ads and lets us show ads to people who have already been on the Site. The pixel is not loaded until you switch marketing cookies on: until then the Site makes no connection to Meta servers at all. If you switch them off, the pixel stops working and its cookies are deleted.

  1. Which cookies we actually set
The Site is static and has no content management system that would set cookies of its own. The following are set:
  • mn_cookie_consent (necessary, lasts 12 months): remembers your choice per category so that we do not ask again on every visit. The same record is kept in browser local storage (mirenCookieConsent), and a seven day postponement of the decision in mirenCookieSoftDeny.
  • Live chat cookies (Tidio): functional category. They are set only once you switch functional cookies on; if you switch them off, the widget is removed from the page and its records are deleted. Provider: Tidio Poland sp. z o.o.
  • _ga and _ga_Q0YHKDS8ZV (analytics category, last up to 2 years): Google Analytics 4. They hold a random browser identifier and the time of the visit, which is how we measure the number of visits and the most read pages. They are set only once you switch analytics cookies on. Recipient: Google Ireland Limited.
  • _fbp and _fbc (marketing category, last up to 90 days): the Meta pixel. _fbp is a random browser identifier, and _fbc is written only if you came to the Site by clicking an ad. They are set only once you switch marketing cookies on. Recipient: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.

Google Analytics 4 receives neither your name, e-mail address nor phone number, and none of the content of any form on the Site. We measure page visits and three actions: a click on the phone number, a click on WhatsApp, and a successfully sent appointment request. What is recorded is that the action happened, not what you typed into the form.

The Meta pixel sends Meta neither your name, e-mail address nor phone number (advanced matching is not enabled), and nothing you enter in the booking form is connected to ad data.

  1. Managing cookies and withdrawing consent
You can manage cookies in two ways:
    1) Through the cookie banner or cookie settings on the Site (if displayed): you can accept or refuse analytical and marketing cookies and change your decision later.
    2) Through your browser settings: you can delete existing cookies or block new ones. Please bear in mind that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site works.
  2. How long cookies last
    Cookies may be:
  • session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or
  • persistent cookies (they remain for a set period or until you delete them).
Their duration depends on the purpose and settings of the particular technology.
