Radiowave wart removal in Belgrade

  • Radiowave removal from 3.000 RSD
  • Local anaesthesia
  • No referral

At the Miren Medic polyclinic warts, skin tags, papillomas and keratoses are removed by radiowave. Radiowaves cut and seal the blood vessels at the same time, so the procedure is short, it is done under local anaesthesia and recovery is quick. The removal is done by dermatologists Dr Dušica Matović and Dr Sandra Čađenović.

At the consultation the dermatologist confirms what kind of lesion it is, because not every growth is a wart. Smaller lesions are removed at the same or the next appointment, as agreed with the doctor.

What is removed with radiowaves

The same lesions listed in the price list under radiowave removal. The dermatologist confirms which one you have at the consultation.

Warts

Rough growths caused by a virus, most often on the hands, fingers and feet.

Skin tags (fibromas)

Soft growths on a stalk, most often on the neck, in the armpits and under the breasts.

Papillomas

Small growths on the skin, on the neck, eyelids and other places where skin rubs.

Keratoses

Brown, rough lesions that appear more often after the age of 40.

Small capillaries and haemangiomas

Red dots and widened tiny blood vessels on the skin.

Xanthelasmas

Yellowish deposits on the eyelids or around the eyes.

How radiowave removal works

The radiowave device works with a thin electrode that carries high frequency radiowaves. They cut tissue precisely and seal tiny blood vessels at the same time, so bleeding is minimal and the surrounding skin is spared. That is why the procedure is short and is done under local anaesthesia.

After removal a small wound remains, which heals on its own. The dermatologist gives you instructions on how to care for it and when to come for a check-up.

One lesion is removed quickly, and several lesions can be removed in the same visit, as agreed with the doctor. The price depends on the number and size of the lesions.

How removal works

From the consultation to the check-up, in this order.

  1. Dermatologist's consultation

The dermatologist examines the lesion and confirms what it is. If the lesion is suspicious, it is not removed by radiowave; a different procedure is agreed.

  2. Local anaesthesia

The area is numbed, so the removal is not felt as pain. You only feel the prick of the anaesthetic.

  3. Radiowave removal

The lesion is removed with a thin electrode. The procedure is short and bleeding is minimal.

  4. Care and check-up

You get instructions for caring for the small wound and, if needed, a check-up appointment.

Genital warts (condylomas)

Warts on the genitals and around the anus are condylomas and are removed as a separate service. A test result for sexually transmitted infections is required for condyloma removal. Read more in the article condylomas: removal and price.

Frequently asked questions

Questions patients most often ask before wart removal.

How much does wart removal cost?
Radiowave removal of skin lesions costs from 3.000 RSD to 20.000 RSD with Dr Dušica Matović, or from 4.000 RSD to 20.000 RSD with Dr Sandra Čađenović. The price depends on the number and size of the lesions and is known after the consultation.
Does radiowave removal hurt?
The removal is done under local anaesthesia, so it is not felt as pain. You only feel the prick of the anaesthetic.
Does removal leave a mark?
Radiowaves are precise and spare the surrounding skin, so the mark is usually small. How visible it will be depends on the size and position of the lesion. The doctor explains this before the procedure.
Can a wart come back?
Warts are caused by a virus, so a new wart can appear in the same or another place. If that happens, see a dermatologist, who will suggest what to do next.
Which other lesions are removed by radiowave?
Skin tags, papillomas, seborrhoeic keratoses, small capillaries, haemangiomas and xanthelasmas. Condylomas are removed as a separate service, with a required test result for sexually transmitted infections.
Do I need a referral?
No. You book the dermatologist and radiowave removal at Miren Medic directly, online or by phone, without a referral.
